Floaters are one thing... pullup 15 footers are another, uncontested pullup 15 footers is even another thing.
Those were dark times. It had taken me some time to come around on Conley, but by that time I had consumed substantial amounts of koolaid, and was convinced we’d be seeing a totally spread floor with one of four different ball handlers running a PnR with Rudy... Any double team would be death via 3-pnter. Never materialized.
There were like two plays this year that trended on twitter where we kept ping-ponging the ball all across the floor, with the defense scrambling the whole possession, that leads to us hitting a three. We all kinda thought that was going to be nearly every possession. Yeah, we got two of them.
