^^ 7/10 - I've never heard these guys and I like it a lot. It reminds me of The Kills, who are playing this years Twilight Concert Series

LOVE the Kills. They're playing Twilight on my anniversary and I've already told my wife I might have to see Allison Mossheart that night. She understands. I'll let someone else rate the song since I can't be objective.

Pretty good, I've never really listened to the Kills before. Maybe I should change that. 7/10.

Had to hunt around to find that one, X Ambassadors.....blocked in the EU. It was good. 6/10

Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes
7.5 - generally I like these guys - or anything Jack White's involved with, he's so versatile. This is a good song - I like that it's a good one to listen to, but it's not so overly compelling that it can't just be in the background.

an oldie, in honor of the U.S. women winning the World Cup

Ugh. Hate modern country. 3/10.

On a completely and utterly different note: Bob Mould, The Descent.

I expected a less brisk song after seeing the man. Not really my cup of tea.

And now the song I can't stop sharing.

Just wanted to say I am one of those who thinks that country music is an oxymoron. Carry on.

7/10

now for a colaberation between 2 musical prodigies:

Double ugh. If Kid Rock ever had an original idea, he must have killed it stillborn. 2/10.

Now, THIS Hank Williams, I like: (Some NSFW language before the actual song starts)

That's one of the things I enjoy about him, is the disconnect between his very mild demeanor and the raucous music he plays. He was the guitarist for a groundbreaking hard-core punk band, Husker Du, as well as the lead singer and voice for Sugar in the 90s.

Just an exceptional song 9 out of 10. Even his sons version is ok.

One of the few old school country artists today.

Eric Church - 6/10. Didn't really grab me.

Let's change it up a little bit. This band cites their influences as Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Metallica.
