We're two blow outs into the season and we're finally seeing what we've been waiting for 7 months; our new Utah Jazz. Everyone's been screaming for the youth movement. Posting how they don't care how many games we win, just as long as our young talent is developed, they play hard, and compete. Well, we are witnessing the beginning of that process now and many of us are losing our ****. "Fire Ty!", "This team has no identity!", "Losing culture!!!11!111!!". Step away from the cliff and trying to see this beyond 3 feet from your face.
We're in for a long season, perhaps seasonS. Judging by the best case scenario (OKC) we're in for a lot of losing. I know many of us are not used to this, we've been spoiled for a long time. KOC tries to call it a reload, but let's not kid ourselves. We're rebuilding, and rebuilding is painful. It's time to pay the piper, take our medicine, and hunker down for winter cause this is going to suck.
I challenge some of the better posters here to focus on the process and progression this season. Really, it's all we'll have to keep us sane. Just look at the first two games. Yes, we got blown out in both. But, there was improvement from game 1 to game 2. Shooting improved, we stayed in the game longer, and we saw semblance's of Jazz basketball out there. Both games were on the road, one of the back end of a b2b, against really good teams. What the hell did everyone think this was going to be like? I know you wanted the team to blow your mind and come out of the gates proving the world wrong. Well guess what? You're in for a world of disappointment. I know we're not used to it, but you better get used to it and fast. Otherwise you won't be watching very many basketball games this year.
I am writing this for my own sanity. Every year I forget how difficult it is to read this forum and try to contribute without losing my ****. I guess this is a call to arms. Please, for the love of John Stocktons huge balls, let's see some constructive analysis of this team this year. I would do it, but I suck and my BB IQ is about as big as Trouts weener. We've almost never been presented with an opportunity like this one; to watch a young team grow before our eyes. Let's not waste it.
