Really hope Lindsey trades Burke

I'm worried Burke could hold back Exum's growth as a player. If Exum can play pg he has a better chance at being a star being athletic and a mismatch for 99% of pg's in the nba. If he plays along side Burke he will be guarded by the other teams longer guard. Is this a valid concern, or no big deal. If he plays pg could he be another Rose, Westbrook kind of player?

If Exum is really a star, it won't matter what position he plays.

Kobe, Lebron, Jordan, etc. where basically all PG's who played with other PG's. You want your star to handle the ball and you want the other plays to compliment him. The only thing that worries me about Burke is defense, but I like his floor spacing and ability to not turnover the ball. Trading Burke this early would be dumb.

there can be enough minutes in the rotation for burke too, you need depth anyway

it's on coach now how he will use his guards

Lol at all the "OMG TRADEZ BURKE NOWZZ!!!"

If it is trade that betters the team and happens to involve Burke then great. But there is no one on this team the "needs" to be traded at all. No one is a cancer, they are all young developing players...give me a break.

GO BURKE and GO JAZZ!!!

Agree, there are enough minutes...for now. Exum isn't going to step on the court and be an all-star on November 1st. Let's cross the trade bridge when we get to it. If Exum develops into a SG, then we'll need a Fisher-like PG to complement him. If Exum develops into a PG, then Burke can be traded and Jazz will bring over Neto as his backup. Trey got some recognition last year as an ROY candidate thanks to the weak field. If he can improve his shooting skills, he should increase his trade value.

I like Burke as a very good back up but he is not a long term solution as a starter.

Please state your reasons. Please state your position after seeing one year of the kid playing professional ball.

Saying it doesn't mean ****.
