Reddick offer helps Jazz?

This offer helps the Jazz in two ways. One, its more likely we could potentially steal away a player or two from them. Two, it gives us one less suitor for Wes Matthews.

only reason jazz fan like redick is cuz he is white..He is an undersized 2 with no ball handling ability and is liablity on defense..
I agree with that much. I'm not that impressed by Redick. He's a streaky shooter, that's for sure. But $6M+? Unbelievable.

I dunno. Maybe I'm hoping Orlando DOESN'T match. If they do, perhaps Chicago makes a run at Matthews and offers hiom $5M/per. Guys sure are getting outrageous offers right now.

I'm actually happy the Jazz AREN'T players at the moment. We've been hurt by overpaying for talent. WE need to wait until the market clams down and then sign some depth. Then, at the deadline, some of these teams may have buyer's remorse and decide to dump some payroll (like Orlando clearing Gortat).

AS for Bass, I'd pass. He's an ok backup, but Orlando overpaid him as a FA. I'd rather have AK behind Millsap and let Evans get the garbage time minutes.

Definitely Gortat, though. And it's interesting we haven't heard much re: Fes. I'd have thunk a few teams would be interested. He showed flashes in the playoffs. As they say, you can't coach size and Fes is a monster.

Evans playing the 4? Ouch. He'll get his lunch money taken away every game.

I get the idea of people thinking/wanting a PF (like Bass) but I really think people may forget, don't trust or are letting their hate for AK blind them to the fact he can play the PF very well. Other then that it may piss off Milsap I would rather have AK starting at the PF and keep Milsap coming of the bench (depending on off season moves by the Jazz).

I said garbage time, not the regular rotation. Jazz have Millsap getting 33-35 mins and AK at 13-15 mins. Koufos can also play PF if necesssary. Only time Evans would play is in a blowout - if he's even active.
