Regrets...

I don't believe in regrets. Are there some things I would do differently given another chance? Sure. But I don't regret the choice or action I took at the time. That is what made me the man I am today. That is a man I am content with.

Regrets come from situations and choices that you'd probably do the same thing if you've given the 2nd chance. Thinking over it, obsessing about it, you come to think that you would do different. But as a matter of fact, you would just do the same.

It is also the feeling after ************ (censor edit: medical term for pleasing yourself). The urges are gone and you feel stupid for doing it.

Well sometimes, on some occasions for somebody at least.

Regrets are tough. I had a job offer that I almost took but decided I didn't want to relocate at that time. For years I wondered if I had made the right decision, but then I realize that I would not have my wife and kids had that happened. My regrets are usually along the lines of "I wish I would have accepted my cousin's offer of a ticket to see Stevie Ray Vaughn" or "I should have gone to that Nirvana concert".

Don't worry braugh. Nirvana is probably the most over-rated rock band ever. And, SRV has been playing the same hooks for his entire career. He and Santana almost brought down blues.

Regrets.

My regrets are all chances I didn't take not ones I did.

I'd agree with this to some extent, but then again, if I had taken those chances, other things might not have worked out the way they did, so who knows...

I do have some minor regrets relating to a couple of "Mean Girls" phases I went through when I was in 3rd-4th grade and again in junior high.
