Regular Season Streaming called Jazz+

I used VPNs in prior years and ultimately it wasn't worth the pain.

If you want the Jazz, you have Jazz+ in Utah area or NBALP outside. Other than losing a game against a local team if you live near another team market (which you'd have to find the local channel), you have streaming options now for 95% of the games. Since the Jazz aren't on TNT much, even better.

I posted at both places and even at my message board (fanhome/scout) that I helped run.

I still remember when I went to the Rocky Mountain Review at SLCC and there was a flyer on my car for JazzFanz! That is how I found out about JazzFanz!
I’m pretty sure that was me, unless @Jason had ever done that. JFC was always big enough that it didn’t need it. Back in the summer of 2002, bordelais and I had been banned from JazzHoops and ended up starting what I believe was JazzForums.com. It never really had much traffic. But I had put some flyers out at SLCC and remember seeing the Phoenix Suns in the parking lot while doing it, back when their team had Joe Johnson and the great Jake Tsakalidis.

ETA: it looks like JazzForums.com is available and I can buy the domain for the low price of $1,988 or lease to own for $497/mo!

How did I not know that Jason was also spamming the RMR SLCC parking lot at the beginning of the century?

No, it's my VPN at work that is not working with League Pass. I live in Indiana and so I only have blackouts when they play the Pacers. I was trying to watch the Jazz/Clippers game from last night on my work wifi and League Pass gave me an error.

My work uses VPN for security purposes and for whatever reason League Pass is saying that my work VPN is not compatible with League Pass. This is a new issue this year, as I've always been able to watch league pass at work, and I don't think my work has updated anything.

It does feel like League Pass is cracking down on people circumventing their blackout rules with VPNs. I'm not sure how this will affect people trying to do this at home. I believe there are lots of people still doing this, so probably not a big concern, but it is a risk.
OK thanks. I'll have a look into this. Would be a bummer to pay for VPN and find out that it's not working.

I remember walking around the parking lot with those fliers ;) - I think we're old now?

It makes me feel old! LOL I can't remember but it was that year or the year after that I was offered to write game recaps for the Rocky Mountain Review for nbadraft.net but I declined because I was busy with school at SLCC at the time.

I live in Toronto, and the League Pass won't let me watch any NBA games that the local channels shows here. That is a lot of games, not just the Raptors games. What problems did you have watching games with VPN?

Just bit the bullet. I usually just stream the games through certain websites but it's usually just a hassle. Now it's a few clicks away without having to deal with the occasional freezing or crash.

The NBA would apparently identify it as a vpn and block it. Some providers of VPN services would have alternates to try like I think ExpressVPN. I also got just errors in the NBALP app when using it quite often. Some random country error message. It was just a pain. Maybe I was just doing it wrong.

My Plex, HDHomeRun and antenna has a DVR but won’t let me join in like an hour late and start at beginning that I can tell. Anyone doing antenna with network DVR?

So Jazz+ is nice but I’m really feeling the need for some DVR functionality. What are people using to record the game? YouTubeTV or something like that?

KJZZ is not available on YouTubeTV unfortunately. If you watch on the nba app you can pause and rewind during the game.
