I'll assume you're asking a sincere question, in which I will respond sincerely. If you're baiting me, then I guess I'm toast.
Anyhow, a simple search of the word, "Puss" pulled up over 40 threads containing the word. I will bet a dollar to a hole in a donut that not a single warning was issued, an infraction given out, or a post edited in any of those threads. It appears to me that you got called out on being a bit too "Molly" by a certain poster, who did nothing wrong to merit the neg rep or the public reprimand, and you took it personally. You edited out his posts, which again, contained nothing that hasn't been said on this board a thousand times, isn't in the filter, and is used in everyday language by billions of people every day. You then went ahead and edited my post as well, which again, contained a word that has been used many times on the board, by many different people, and isn't in the filter. To top it off, I was then sent a threatening neg rep:

Don't worry about the other posts above this one, you know, the ones that talk about ejaculating on someone else's mother, or "finishing in her trunk in order to clean up the gene pool", because hey, you've got a vendetta to work on. The only thing I find complicated is the utter bipolarism of this place, and the insane bias that some of the moderators have. Granted, I've certainly been on the winning side of that bias before, but that's kind of the point. Why not moderate everyone equally, and forget about past discretions, or lack thereof?
As to "Bwahahahaing" your earlier post, in short, I've earned my rep by not being a tool and contributing. You've artificially inflated yours with your admin powers, which goes along perfectly with your overall attitude.

I have no problem people calling me uptight. I have a problem with people posting crap to this message board. And the overtly sexual comments that have been going on here recently are just that: crap. As I mentioned, if you don't clean up your language, I'll neg rep you, possibly edit your post, and report you for possible infraction.
Now for this specific case, assuming you are talking about YB, notice that I didn't edit out his writing "Mr. Nanny and his board sensitivity. Sorry colton." What I did edit out was the sexual part of his post. So clearly your statement that I was upset about getting "called out" is incorrect.
Not by people I hang out with. Not by people my daughters hang out with. I don't hear it on the radio. I don't hear it on TV. I don't hear it at work. I don't hear it from my extended family. I don't hear it from my wife's extended family. We clearly live in different worlds, trout. I'm grateful I don't live in your world. And I realize you are probably grateful you don't live in mine. Such is life.
Anyway, if someone reacts to the editing of a post for sexual content by posting MORE sexual content, then frankly he deserves to have that post edited, also. That goes for both you and YB. Whether you or he will receive infractions for those posts, I don't know. But they certainly deserved to be removed.
Trout, you are so off base it would be funny if it weren't sad. I care absolutely nothing about whether you think I am lame or not. I care absolutely nothing about whether you "call me out" for being what you perceive as lame.
What you got that "threat" for (if my neg rep comment even rises to the level of "threat" which I doubt), was for deliberately making reference to sexual organs when you had just received an infraction for so doing. It had nothing to do with any posts about my lameness. If you think that your post was a proper response to the infraction, you'd better think again. If you really want to push the limits, go ahead--you're on your second strike and I'll be just fine if you pick up a third. But you'd better think twice to make sure that's really what YOU want to do. That's what the "threat" was about.
Aha, it's the old "justify my own poor behavior by pointing out poor behavior in others" song again.
I don't read every single post on jazzfanz, and I probably haven't read every single post in this thread. There are currently several posts under discussion in the mod forum, quite possibly even the posts that you are talking about here. But in case we missed them, please report them. I'm certainly willing to vote for infractions for those posts as well. I'm an equal opportunity infractor.
I'm sure you don't believe this, but that's exactly what I do. And from what I can tell, the other moderators as well. I really don't know about any "insane biases" that exist.
It's sad that you really have no clue about what my overall attitude really is. But I think it's sadder for you than it is for me.
It's a combination of three factors: your current reputation, your number of posts, and your time on jazzfanz. The weighting of the three factors changes from time to time; somewhere in the "site feedback" forum you can probably find where I posted the current weightings.
