Reputation Comments, positive and negative

I haven't used it inappropriately yet. Sorry dude I regard these pro-forma "I wouldn't like it if I saw heterosexuals doing this but" statements right before complaining specifically about gay people as the equivalent of saying "I'm not racist but" and then saying something racist. If you're uncomfortable being called out on it because that's "heavy" then the solution is don't do it.

Here's the reality: I'll leave the rep comments I want as I see fit...

Typical liberal bully.

I think you missed the important part: the specific comparative statement was made that she was MORE uncomfortable because they were homosexual than she would have been if they were heterosexual. Well, technically she used the word "creepier" but that doesn't make it better.

At this point there is no sense in arguing, because you'll never get it. It is easy to make slanderous comments about people when protected in ambiguity on the internet.

I'm pretty sure we both feel the other person will never get it.

As for the anonymity (which I'm pretty sure is what you meant) issue, I'm almost positive that anyone who cares or has paid attention on this website knows my real identity and my face is well-known (and mocked) on the boards. If you're in the area I would be happy to go get a beer with you anytime and discuss it in person.

The car is gay kicky. I don't really have any other word to describe it, maybe effeminate. But as long as society dictates "gay" as the number one adjective for things that look like your car, I'm gonna use that word.

It doesn't mean I have a problem with gay people, or that only gay people would like that car. It is what it is...

"fyi I'm not the first or last poster to respond to &%$#&&#%. Nothing personal."

Reciprocated neg. rep from vslice Moreschi. Grow a pair, Sporus.

Yes it was reciprocated from this:

Please ignore him. Nothing personal.
All I posted was a quote and quick reply to a longtime poster here, so seriously wtf franklin? I should rely on you to tell me which poster I have permission to respond to? You may be a woman but you're not my mother.

I think it would have been even creepier if it was two lawyers. I can't really pinpoint it, but lawyers give me the heebie jeebies... it might be how they talk and write. I'm going to generalize here because I know you love that. Lawers seem to use words effectively by twisting, slicing, and dicing comments by other people so the statements appear to say or mean something other than what the person actually said. Lawer pro-forma is "I know you actually said is "this", but I also know what you meant was "this".

I know this is heavy, and I am accusing you of using "lawer speak", but I call it like I see it. You know how it is.

:D

And default has now neg-repped me back, as is the natural order of things.

Treat rep like the baseball code: if a guy beans you then you bean him back. No more fighting everyone's even. Even better is just running to first base to make it clear that he's incapable of hurting you. Everything else is just a big "cry harder."

Did you make it to first base without your mommy kissing the boo boo better?
