Which is even more of a reason why it's silly that he feels he has to artificially inflate it so it's higher than everyone elses.

It's not a big deal and this is not the real world, it's an escape from it. Colton has the formula for how rep power is calculated and yet he gives himself more points. I just think it's funny that his insecurity leads to him feeling that he needs to have higher rep value. Why does he feel that his opinion of a post has to be worth more? Out of curiosity, I wonder how many reputation points he really has.

He's told us in the past. You can just look at the membership, and sort by reputation to see where he stack ups on the list if you care so much. I think the insecurity is the other way as much as anything, the people making a big deal out of it when it really doesn't matter.

Neg Rep'd me for calling Beantown stupid. Also, his neg rep actually takes away 17 points, unlike the 50% discount you get with other neg reps.

It is so strange that you all are so obsessed with this. And you call *me* insecure!

And I've posted elsewhere (probably in this thread) that last time I did the calculation to see what my "real" rep power would be, it was about 2 pts lower than my actual rep power. So it's probably a 15. If those 2 pts really bug you this much, you need to get a life.
 
I personally do not care if Colton has 17 rep. I really don't. It is a pointless arguement. If we are going to argue let's do it about something worthwhile or funny.
