Rudy’s value is not going to be that high. Rudy is who they will trade for a multitude of reasons. You’re also not getting back anything close to a Tatum so get that pipe dream out of your head lol. Donovan could get the Jazz more as far as assets but there’s no way the Jazz are trading Donovan unless he absolutely demands it. Donovans valuable to the franchise and quite honestly the community in ways I think he’s pretty untouchable for a long time unless it’s him forcing it. I think Donovan’s here as long as Donovan wants to be here tbh.
I do wonder. I have no idea who is in the ball park of Rudy salary wise. But I wonder who a team would trade for him. Again I think his value is okay but also not all that high in today’s NBA to trade too.

Yeah, I was just using Tatum as an example - no way the Celtics ever part with him. Just wondering what the best player coming in could be, and who do we parter him up with. So it’s not a just a question of Rudy or DM - it’s a question of what the best pairing would be.

I do find it very upsetting that when Joe ingles posts something Donovan, royce and conley and everyone will comment or like it.. even when Donovan posts something all the jazz guys reply and like... but when Rudy posts that he lost his sense of smell and taste... No comments or likes from any teammates whatsoever

I like how they say they are acting like the reports are a joke but someone sent Woj that info lol.
Also, Tony Jones has a mailbag today, he seems pretty confident Donovan wants to be here and will be. Tony is certainly closer to guys like Royce and Donovan than Rudy. It will be interesting to see what happens with Rudy. I can’t imagine he’ll be happy at all in the end of this.

I think Holiday for Gobert makes some sense.
If they add an interior defender they take another leap. Maybe a major one. Ingram and Zion are clearly their two young studs. They still have Lonzo, Hart...Gobert for them would be huge.
And we could put Holiday next to Donnie. But our defense would be atrocious.
