The Democratic party doesn't like her. She tried to unseat Schumer, she doesn't support others in the party outside of the Squad, which is why she doesn't get support for any of her bills.

I'm all for a much broader safety net and making more opportunities to bring our poor out of poverty, but I'm definitely not the AOC kind of socialist.

The post above is a fantastic example of the brain rot that afflicts this country. When right-wing propagandists have their hooks so deeply into you that you think that the Left is simultaneously to blame for

1. Pushing culture-war ******** to the forefront of media discourse
2. The party faction responsible for not getting things done for working-class Americans.

In the video you posted, Andrew Yang is talking about the real reason that Democrats aren't more loved is that you can't point to a single substantive thing they've done to improve the lives of the average working-class American. He's ****ing right. However, It blows my mind that you think this is somehow the left's fault when fighting for the real material improvement of the conditions of the working class is their primary goal. That's what they're trying to do.

You've fundamentally misread what is the left is striving for. You're over here with AY asking why the democrat party hasn't done anything and you buy into the right-wing propaganda, hook, line and sinker. Leftism is actually vilified because they threaten the power structures that exist today. Find me an actual leftist media person that strongly advocates for something like the decommodification of housing or other radical ideas that has the financial backing of billionaire money.

Andrew Yang quite literally left the Democratic Party because of moron leftists like yourself. I can promise you Yang sides much closer to me than he does you lmao. What you never see Yang do: call everything white supremacy, everyone who disagrees with him white supremacists , and never forwarded moronic ideas like abolish or defund the police. He quite literally ripped into it and advocated for more police. Nah, the guy who left the party realizes how stupid leftists are and knows how damaging they have been to the party. This isn’t about policy, this is about what leftists are most interested in and it’s not policy. It is playing culture wars, calling everything white supremacy, and advocating for abolishing police and whatnot. All stupidity that people have grown tired of. As I said, had the driver of the car in Wisconsin bend white people like yourself would be screaming white supremacy all week because you’re predictable hacks.

I think you can dislike AOC, criticize the minutiae of how she chooses to go about advancing her values, and also still be a leftist or at least sympathetic to the cause.

I figured I had at l had at least been interacting with a moderately intelligent partisan. I'm going to assume this is some odd blindness as opposed to genuine stupidity.

For decades in this country, we held undocumented families seeking asylum families together instead of splitting them up. Her argument makes perfect sense in the context of a cruel, unnecessary change in this policy.
