BS makes Corbin look like a genius with that idiotic response.

Really!! Your going to throw the rest of your players under the bus as everyone watching that game saw a disconnected Bryant from the rest of his team, wow!!!!!!

If I were the GM of the Lakers, I'm pretty sure I'd have fired BS on the spot. Pretty sure BS insulted everyone's intelligence. I'm sure ESPN will praise Kobe's great defense in the second half holding Hood to no points in the second half, as if he was playing some kind of heroic defense.

The only thing Kobe was doing was thinking of himself. He wasn't playing team defense at all. He wasn't thinking of or playing with his team. All he was doing was trying to preserve his record, and he damn sure wasn't taking on any kind of challenge of stopping Hood. He was completely disconnected from the game on the defensive side of the ball.

Way to show your true colors Mr. Bryant. Worst part of that game was Kobe coming out of the game and seeing all the jazz fans standing and clapping while I sat there and booed his ***!!!

Thankfully this Jazz team sent him off with his greatest *** whooping!!
 
The Jazz didn't run any plays in the second half for Hood - I don't recall them trying to set one screen. He would just stand in the corner with Kobe while everyone else played 4 on 4. I really think he could have taken it to Kobe any time he wanted to. It's like they didn't want to show up him up on his last game in Utah.

There was a small part of me that thought back to games over the last 10-15 years ago when Kobe would blatantly try to pad his stats in blow-out wins. I remember specifically around the time he dropped 81 on Toronto he was putting up insane FGA numbers - I watched a lot of those games on NBA League Pass and it was an almost circus like atmosphere.

But as sanctimonious as this may sound, The Lakers are really awful right now - probably worse than Philly. No point kicking a man while he's down - even though Kobe has a history of not showing the rest of the league the same courtesy.
 
Don't let a guy score 50 and turn into Harden in case you wanna expand his rookie contract?


Or don't risk your most important players for the playoffs?
 
I think the way they played the second half just totally showed the difference in class between the two players and organizations. Kobe was only trying to show what he can do, and Quin & Rodney just kept playing the game for the team. Kobe just continues to demonstrate what a me-first selfish SOB he has been and will always be.
