If you were Raja what do you have to lose by holding out for the most you can get? Jazz really have no leverage here.
This is only true if there really is 0 interest in him. Because they can always make him inactive tell him to he is not going to play all season. I don't think that is what they should do. But it is an option. If you were Raja what do you have to lose by holding out for the most you can get? Jazz really have no leverage here.

Judging by other players out there that don't have a contract yet, I have a hard time believing that Bell has any interest. So he reall does have nothing to lose.
Nope - amnesty window has closed for this season, and his contract expires before the next amnesty window opens.Jazz still could amnesty his contract.
A big 3.5 million mistake. Actually, it's only like 1 mil because they still have to pay him most of it even if they buy him out. All they are really out is the roster spot, so I feel for our second round pick if he fails to make the team.If they blew their chance to amnesty Bell and he manages to stay around this season then that's the one big mistake O'Conner has made
