I hope we aren't bringing Gobert back too soon. Didn't Favs have a bone Bruise last year? I know Gobert is not Favors and his mental motor is by far one of the best in the NBA. But I would rather the team make sure he's 100% over playing a hobbled Gobert.

I could be wrong about this but as another poster said he will certainly have a minute restriction and the Jazz don't usually start players coming off of a long injury like this. So I would assume at the very most he would play all of Udoh's minutes at C which is usually around 10-12-15min at most. Which is good since tomorrow is a back to back against OKC where the Jazz could use Gobert more if he's allowed to play back to back that is and if he is then again I would suspect heavy minute restriction.

Jazz would not play Gobert unless he was 100% or at least close and without risk of making it worse by playing.

Also I'm guessing we will see him dominate wizards bench tonight. Maybe he gets some closing minutes if it's close.

So the common theme in this thread seems to be the notion that Gobert shouldn't push his return so he can heal properly but somehow that means Hood should push his return before he's ready? Got it.
