Gobert finished December with 77.8% FG. This is the best ratio in a month since 83-84' season.

Jordan does it all on lobs. Gobert is establishing position an finishing with soft touch. It don't look pretty an is awkward at times but Rudy is the leagues biggest badass an finds a way to use his skill set. He also wasting on the boards an putbacks.

I seriously think Gobert is a top 10 player in NBA. His impact is insane.

LeBron, Harden, Gobert, Curry, Westbrook, KD, Davis... I am sure I am missing a few but I put Gobert in to almost that category. He is so good he is just a step below the elite if he does not make all start I will be pissed!

I wouldn't go that far, Boris. Rudy does it primarily on lobs, although he has had a few nice shots of late. But all around the basket. It's not like he's taking his man out to the FT line extended. To Rudy's credit, he knows his limitations and strengths and plays within those boundaries. And that really helps the team. Hopefully Utah has a competent video analyst who can spot what Rudy is doing lately with his FT's. Need him to get back to around 70%.

All hail King Rudy!

He is this teams MVP.

This was great too.

The Jazz trust Gobert to make what’s supposed to be the most efficient spot on the floor become a wasteland for conversion. Nobody defends more shots at the rim per game (11.4) than Gobert; only Kristaps Porzingis is defending the rim as well as Gobert for percentage allowed (42.1 percent for both players), according to NBA.com/stats.

With Gobert on the floor, the Jazz allow 99.0 points per 100 possessions. That’s 7.1 points per 100 possessions fewer than when he’s on the bench. It’s easy to laud Gobert for his defensive prowess. He’s a lock to garner at least a couple of Defensive Player of the Year awards by the time his career is done. Even in an era with Kawhi Leonard and Draymond Green showing you the value of switchy defenders, Gobert’s presence inside can’t be ignored. As we get into the season of recognizing potential All-Stars in both conferences, it’s the value that Gobert now adds on the offensive end of the floor that nearly matches his defensive impact.

While Gobert won’t make anybody forget about Rick Barry at the charity stripe any time soon, his 64.8 percent success rate is a career high. So is his free throw attempt rate of 95.1 percent and his league-leading true shooting percentage of 70.7 percent. He’s currently on pace to become the first player in NBA history to block at least 4 shots per 100 possessions and have a true shooting percentage of at least 70 percent.

Aside from the improved free throw performance, Gobert has also become the best pick-and-roll big man in the league to date.

I don't think that it's too much to say that he might be a top 15 player in the NBA. The dude is becoming a superstar in my eyes... superstars have the ability to completely take over and change a game down the stretch, and he absolutely did that against Phoenix last night.

imagine KP and Rudy at the 4 and 5 spots. Rim protection would be insane and on the other end you have Kristaps ability to stretch the floor.
