Rudy Gobert, model teammate?

Funny but after the punch , i tought it's not gonna take long before Youngjefe wake up !
On the incident, Rudy is 100% wrong. Unable to control his emotion, acting like a 12 years old kids. Totally unaceptable. They send him home and they were right. If he can not handle critics and high expectations considering his trading value, then he is a problem.
But Mike, JC , Royce say all how they like him, so he is not the bad teammate some people here are telling. Even Don say some good things.
I like Rudy , his play with heart but i can accept when he make something wrong . And this one was. Slomo is a good guy, he help to make Rudy play better.
 
Maybe it was a punch, maybe it was a push. Either way, they sent him home and that locker room is in disarray, everyone and their mother leaking to the media. This is great for our draft prospects and no one else.

No Slomo is wrong to call Rudy a bitch. But Rudy should not have react like that. Sometime you have to be smart. I was refering at Slomo carreer where he never have any incident. We can't tell the same about Rudy ( Covid things, some issue here....). And as i'm say, i'm a Rudy fan but not this time.
 
Minny is a total immature team. Even Mike that everyone reconize as one of the samrtest guys in the NBA cannot fix it. Hope for him, he don't stay there long.
 
Imagine selling the farm for Rudy , only to be sent home in the final game of the season and huge doubts whether he plays in the play in , and most likely gets moved on again in the offseason

Yeah you can be a fan and completely disagree with someone or not like things they do. I am a huge Stockton fan but I think his stance on vaccines is ludicrous, for example. I love Rudy, this was a bad look for him. He would have been better off just walking away out of the huddle, and taking himself out of the game. He needs to show some class. But sometimes you get pushed further than you can take and you snap, it is stupid and wrong but it happens to us all. Not an excuse but it is understandable. Doesn't lessen the fact that he is one of my favorite Jazz players of all time.

Obviously there's a been a whole season of build up as well.

I really like Rudy, but he is not someone you want in a position to lead or on a team where there is no leadership. As great of a player Rudy is/was, he is not a person other players like or respect. Obviously the trade was questionable from MIN's side for most, but it adding Rudy to Timberwolves locker room which is just immature kids (KAT, Ant, DLo) was a disaster waiting to happen.

It doesn't feel great, but Rudy is the gift that keeps on giving for the Jazz. Gave us several great years as a player and several picks on the way out.

We discussed this before Rudy was even traded - we speculated that many current NBA players don't like Rudy. Most of the stars upped their games around him and there always seemed a lack of respect for his game, accolades, awards, etc.

I don't think calling him a bitch is warranted, but I'm not surprised that a lot of NBA players feel that way about him. He tries to be hard, but his flops are laughable. He whines to the refs constantly (or at least he did with us but I don't watch him play now so he might do it less). The Covid thing with the microphones, the fall out with Donovan, his reaction to awards, etc.
