Haha, if Donovan is the kind of dude who would get majorly butthurt over being catching a mild illness from a teammate, I'd let him walk for nothing.

I mean, has he been on a sports team before? When my frat had a basketball team years ago, it was an unusual season if no one on the team slept with a teammate's girlfriend, put feces in a kit bag as a prank, or been teabagged while passed out from drinking by our one-armed, one-legged coach. And we all would've taken a bullet for each other, regardless.

We could look back at this and feel dumb for thinking there is some major beef here... or it absolutely could be the pivot point. I’ve definitely seen frustrations between those two this year... now I’m thinking back and like man maybe it wasn’t all healthy disagreements.

I wonder if there was some instance where Rudy went to far... like he grabbed his tooth brush or something. His apology was sincere so maybe it was more than hugs and grabbing other dudes bags.

This is no bueno.
 
Good news is if we ever resume play I don’t expect Rudy to have any pouty games... will give him the chip on his shoulder and I expect him to be a man on fire... if we ever get to play again.

There is no confirmation that Donovan is mad at Rudy. It's all speculation at this point.

However, letting Donovan walk because he is upset about getting this illness put on him by a careless teammate is about the dumbest response I have seen since this whole story broke.

I think DM's insta post threw some shade at Rudy... I think Woj reports what he hears... so he's hearing stuff.

There is something to it imo. Rudy didn't fire back and acknowledged he was wrong... so maybe he had some other sophomoric acts in the locker room that may have spread his virus. Just really bad luck that he had it and had the public moment.

If DM and other teammates through him under the bus over giving people high fives then that is pretty bad... not that you let him walk... that dumb AF.

This might be the big event that unearths some friction those two have had.
 
Rudy's new nickname is the accidental idiot hero. Lots of people are praising him for forcing the leaders of everything in this great country to fix this virus.
