I like Hayward a lot but I think even 10 mil a year is a bit steep. He is not a #1 scoring option on a team setup correctly so to pay double digit millions is a bit crazy. I know that is pretty much what the market would dictate nowadays but it just seems excessive. A contract around 7-8 million for a 3rd scoring option which in a perfect world is what he should be sounds about right.
