It doesn’t seem like a coincidence that these reports are surfacing after the Vonleh workout. Basically, it appears that the Jazz are not real impressed with what they can get at 5. Instead of adding yet another good, but not great player, they probably feel like they need to swing for the fence.

Burks is totally expendable to get Parker.
There are lots of similar players like Burks available in this draft.
Question is , How much more would Jazz have to give up to get Parker?

Is Alec Burks Dwyane Wade or Nick Young?
 
Wow, so many people doubtful of Parker. I don't get it. I think he is going to be great. He's the only player in the draft that looks like a can't miss.

I hope and pray this is true that we are going after Parker.

Currently we're suffering from draft position delusions. Since we moved back in the lottery, we've had plenty of time to sit around and fantasize about how possibly the number 5 pick could be better than top 3, that we've repeated it so much that now we're almost convinced 5 is actually a better position than top 3.
