RUMOR: Joe Ingles to be offered 4 years at $60M by Orlando

Ingles' agent is Bartelstein. After the Hayward shenanigans, is there any doubt the agent may have leaked a false rumor to try to drive up Joe's price - and Bartlestein's commission?
DL is probably so disgusted with Bartlestein he's letting Zanik handle the details on this one.
 
Colton didn't post the most relevant part of the article. To make an offer in that range to Joe, Orlando would have needed to renounce a bunch of players and trade a couple more. They simply didn't have cap room to pay him 4/$60m

From what I remember 29 teams offered the max to Joe and he said eff you guys I'm going to Utah for half that... I may be mis-remembering, but that is what it should have been.
 
No way for Cy to win the bet. He made a claim that is less provable if true than if not true. The fact that he thinks he won tells you a lot about Cy.

Love you Cy, but you didn't win and you pretty much can't win.

The bet was voided because he never talked to any other team. If anyone won though, it was me. Ingles said he took less money to stay in Utah and I believe the Affable Aussie.

Wait...So which is it? Did Ingles get an offer from Orlando or did Ingles never talk to any other team? You can't have it both ways.

Also, where in our bet did it say it would be void if Ingles only talked to the jazz?

Also, where did Ingles say he had a contract offered for more than he signed with the jazz?

Yes I can. There were very reputable journalist who reported that Orlando was ready to offer Ingles 60/4. Its not like it was a blog rumor.

I said it in my very original statement. I literally said exactly what happened. I said he would get 15 million a year if he talked to other teams but he might take a slight discount to stay in Utah.
