he probably grew another inch. 6ft 10 1/2 patrick ewing(in his playing days) is no more than 6ft 10 right now with his bad posture and age.


so 7ft 1 in shoes - i'm now confident that his shoe had near 2 inch lift. this kid is 6ft 11 with serious length. still a great specimen. but that idiot scout doesn't know crap.

i have wiggins anywhere between 6ft 7 to 6ft 7 1/2. i really was hoping any of these kansas studs to show up at the combine. me disappoint.

withey was 7ft 1/2 with shoes. 1 3/4 inch lift.

I don't know all year it was presumed that Wiggins was 6'8, Parker was 6'8, and Embiid was 7'0 and the measurements came out and everybody had an extra inch.

he was never measured officially. it all depends on what kind of shoe he wore. remember all of these big 3 wants to be #1 pick. they would want to look taller and bigger to boost their chance. 7ft 1 embiid boosts his stock. 6ft 9 parker and wiggins too. if embiid came into combine and gets measured at 6ft 10 1/2 barefoot, that may hurt his stock. if parker came in 6ft 6 1/2 and overweight at 245lb, that hurts his stock.

true. i would say it's reasonable to assume 1/4 to 1/2 growth for a freshmen. anything more than 1inch growth would be noticeable. and something like that doesn't go quietly. if a player really grew than agents would pimp the growth. happens all the time.

anyway, i just really hate height measured in shoes. just look at jabari parker.

Parker, Wiggins, and Embiid are fudging, but the end result is it makes them harder to trade for. Their potential GMs will use it as leverage to try and take the barn, tractors, and cows from us.

bottom line - embiid is an impressive specifimen. 6ft 11 ish, 7ft 5+ wingspan, and only getting better. only concern is his health.

I used to rank Wiggins barely ahead of Jabari. But I think it's time to put Jabari at the top. I too wonder a little about Wiggins fire. He kinda comes off a little Ronnie Brewerish. Not say they are the same player. Just sorta the same personality.

I think Jabari will be the best player from this draft.

I always figured he'd figure out the diet thing out. Looks like he already has.

All I know about this is Jabari can ball for sure. I see no chance he doesn't live up to the hype.

With Wiggins and Embiid, all I really see is a lot of potential. I can't be sure what they are gonna be.
