SI picks Utes to win PAC12 South.

Utah is still very much in the running for the PAC 12 South. In fact, if Utah wins next week, the division is Utah's to lose.

I know that is difficult for a BYU fan to understand, since BYU's season is over after the first loss. And I know it's painful watching your rival thrive even at their worst of times. But the reality is Utah only has 2 conference losses. If Utah beats Arizona State next week, the following week Arizona State is at Oregon. And the rest of Utah's conference games should be easier than the 2 they have already played.

Hey we all saw the BYU fans trying to set the record for fastest stadium evacuation during that Utah blowout win. Our crowd wasn't nearly that bad last night.

You can hope to keep winning so you can hopefully watch your team in the Armed Forces Bowl. I'll keep hoping the Utes win so they can hopefully go to the Rose Bowl. Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn't. But worse case scenario, the Utes will definitely be in a better bowl than the Armed Forces Bowl.

But I think we can all agree that the first half team (before Whitt benched Fotu and Wynn got hurt) was absolutely a contender for the Pac 12 South.

BYU for a quarter.... maybe even a drive... could have made a case for a national championship.

Utes have had some nice spurts. But they're not there yet. They still need to find a qb and a decent o-line. They have some nice skilled players though.

I'm a BYU fan, and I'm with you on this one. Having a national championship from 1984 (split decision, even, if I recall correctly) does not have any bearing on whether BYU or U of U has the better current program. The beatdown a couple of weeks ago, however, does. Maybe the Y will be better than the U next year, but we certainly weren't this year. Case closed.

Agreed with Colton here. On the flip side, anyone who comes at me with, "Scoreboard, clown" is going to get this shoved down their pie hole. I'm pretty positive that I haven't made a post since the BYU/Utah game that said BYU was better. We got trounced. Nobody is debating that. The fact is, you guys suck *** too and when someone (me) pointed it out, you went all sissy-insecure-Salty on me and pulled the "Scoreboard" line. If we're really keeping score, then fine, I'll keep score: BYU 1, Utah 0. Anything more than that is not relevent, just like your third place trophy.
