If I would've put money on which BYU fan I thought was going to bump this, I would've lost. Wasn't expecting Trout to do it.

Utah sucked last night, no doubt. But Utah can still be in the Pac 12 championship game. It's not the end of the world. Not saying the Utes will be there- don't know what to expect without Wynn or what his injury is or anything. But I think we can all agree that the first half team (before Whitt benched Fotu and Wynn got hurt) was absolutely a contender for the Pac 12 South.

Interesting. I didn't see the game so I didn't know Wynn didn't play for a half. How did the backup look?

Absolutely horrible. Looked like he finally got something going on the last series of the game, but Washington had already called off the dogs at that point.
If Wynn is out for a while (rumors are he is done for the year) then Hays will have to get a whole lot better for Utah to even make a bowl game. Hopefully he will improve with practice. He had problems with accuracy, but he also had major timing issues. There were several plays where he threw the ball too early or too late for the receiver to make a play on it. Hopefully practicing with these guys will correct a lot of it.
Dude, this is what a two week suspension will do to you. I am getting all of my missed posting in ASAP.

I don't understand why BYU fans are talking trash. Did Utah suck last night? Sure did. But 54-10 is all that needs to be said and I don't even hate BYU. I'll even pull for them if they are playing someone that isn't Utah. Anyway, 54-10

I think reality is setting in.
None of the Utah schools are that great this year. Utah doesn't have a QB (and probably isn't going to the Rose Bowl), BYU has no offense, Utah St. chokes, Weber State is a classic Ronnie Mac team (can upset a good team one week. Follow up the big win with an equally devastating loss against a terrible team), and SUU lost.

I think all started the season with high hopes. And all, to an extent, have underachieved.
Utah has some really nice talent. Chow is capable. But that QB situation is ugly. If Wynn plays, his play is pretty ugly with that arm. When he doesn't? The backup has had no experience and leaves the offense is a bad situation.
BYU? Might have had the highest expectations of all Utah schools. they've sucked.
Utah St was supposed to take that next step. They haven't. If anything, I think frustration has/will set in. They've proven capable to compete at an extremely high level. And they've sadly proven capable to choke unlike any other team...
Maybe this NBA lockout needs to end so we can all start cheering our Jazz again?
I'm not sure if your comment is directed at me or not. But I'll just say that I'm not talking trash about BYU vs. Utah now. Utah clearly showed it was the WAY better team this year. That doesn't mean that I can't talk trash about Salty's prediction that Utah would compete for the division title this year. Or the fact that he is still trying to slavage that by saying things like this:
