For what it's worth, that's the policy--not just for kicky, but for all of the moderators.
I want to thank Raspberry Delight for the unprompted endorsment.
Because, it couldn't just be that your opinions are based on jaw-droppingly stupid assertions and counter-to-reality interpretations. It must be someone else's problem if they feel the need to correct thoughtless assertions. Maybe the need is just to present accurate views of reality. That's my particular neurosis, certainly.
Sirkickyass has never, from what I have seen, tried to make a person look stupid. He has merely exposed stopidity that was always flowing like the might Miss' from someone's mouth. He's also been in long, respectful disagreements with genuinely knowledgeable posters. If some people have found themselves unable to to be in a long, respectful, knowledgeable exchange, it due to a lack of knowledge and a respect for knowledge, not due to any fault of Sirkickyass. Perhaps those posters whould take the time to actually learn about the subject they wish to discuss, so they can present any disagreements based on knowledge rather than preference and belief.
I agree you should not need to agree with someone in order to respect them and/or like them. In particular, I would like to say to Gameface, the former TheItinerantSon (I'm not sure if he is here or under which handle), the pearl, JohnDeereJerry, Hopper/aintnuthin, and Mono/Stickler that as much as we have disagreed in the past, I hope you all realize that I value your inputs and find your points of view to be informative and substantive, and I hope you realize that I think you are all good posters and comrades. I'm sure I am leaving people off that list, and I apologize for that.

Could be. Since the change we have seen very little of CJ and a whole lot of Aint.
I have not posted very much in the past few years but I have been around this board since the Realgm days. During that time I have found Kicky to be in the top tier of posters. That is not to say he and I have agreed about everything, he is mistaken about a great number of things, however, his posts are always well thought out and his positions are based in logic (sometimes misguided.)
There are two things that I really appreciate about Kicky. First, he is a Jazz fan. He goes out of his way to go to games. He is interested in seeing this franchise progress. He wants to talk about the Jazz, sometimes it feels like people come here to talk about everything but the Jazz. In short (sorry Kicky, no pun intended) he is a fan. I appreciate that. Second, he isn't fake. He doesn't have 5 accounts and just comes around to try and stir up drama. What you see is what you get. He calls it like he sees it. I appreciate that as well.
