Soccer Isn't A Man's Game And The Amount Of Times They Grab Each Other's Heads And Fake Cry And Fall

soccer popularity will take off if this US teams go far in the tourney.

why?

1. ratings are already high
2. many cities have emerged as a soccer cities - seattle, portland and etc
3. world cup TV ratings have been great
4. MLS product has gotten better and better
5. many kids play soccer. familiarity is there
6. NFL concussion issue has made pop warner football to decline. this indirectly helps because more kids will choose safer sports
7. more popularity means more exposure. meaning more ESPN coverage.
8. more kids playing means future stars. imagine USA producing a top quality striker like messi or ronaldo. popularity will triple

we are on a verge of a major soccer boom. but world cup success is critical. we must someday get into final four. and one day we must win it all.

Believe it or not I have met plenty of Germans who only watch soccer during the World Cup and do so mainly as an excuse to get drunk, and in the normal course of their lives they feel soccer is a waste of grass too, or they just don't care, and some actively dislike it. You have a really narrow frame of view if you think that outside of the US literally every single person on the planet orgasms over soccer.

I think Baseball and American football waste grass and space even more. Just think how great soccer stadiums would look instead of that nonsense.
 
basketball : flop = destroying the game of basketball.

soccer : flop = skill that must be mastered

The ironic thing is soccer doesn't need mouthbreathing troglodytes such as yourself. They have an unparalleled fan base that includes most of the world. Furthermore, if you have the fortitude to watch the paint drying action of baseball than soccer should be no problem. If it is, well, then you're an idiot.

No problem with a few trolling. But football is worldwide and the US has yet to stop sucking at it. Well not sucking, but bringing to the level of other sports they bring success in. They have all the tools to be good at it. Athlete growing sports system in pretty much every type. And a worldwide importing availabilty both playerwise and coachwise. It'll get there evetually. But this also shows that football is a culture.
