Australia can't miss in first quarter, takes 30-20 lead thanks mostly to 6 TO by LT. Exum with 1ast,1reb and 1 to.
 
TO's continue to plaque Lithuania ( 13 in a half!) and Australia keeps shooting lights out. This must be the most terrible basketball I have seen form Lithuania in last 10 years or so.. 47-28 after half.

8-0 start of the third quarter puts LT back in the game.
 
Lithuania comes back playing tenacious defense in 3d. 6 pt game after 3d. No Exum in 3d quarter either.
 
So Lithuania unable to comeback despite cutting lead multiple times to 3 pts. 22 TO for FIBA game must be some kind of record though... impressive pressure defense by Australia in first half was the difference. Exum was non factor though... did not play in second half at all. So interesting situation in this group as if LT wins vs Slovenia pt differential will be deciding factor who will end up with 1,2 or 3 place. That if Australia beats Mexico which is not given as Mexico looked pretty good so far as well.

Almost to bad Russia did not get the wild card instead of Finland. Russia-Ukraine game would be very interesting right about now.

Russia did not even submitt application for wild card. Was to expensive for them or whatever...
