Spain 2014 FIBA World Cup

moltens have those soft touches when worn out.
they are light, easy to handle and have this "dry" feeling.
They wouldn't get "alive" and slip somewhere, when you play bball.

Exactly my ball. Not too usable right now though. The side that is not shown on the pic has some ripped parts. Maybe I can work something on them with some kind of glue or smth.

So guys, will we use this thread to talk about the FIBA World Cup? AKMVP, you're there buddy?

Sure, lets do it. It starts tomorrow!!!

12 games tomorrow and since it's weekend I will try to watch as many games as possible. I want to see Saric/Hezonja/Bojan/Tomic so I will start with the opening game Croatia-Philippines, then obviously New Zeland-Turkey.

Australia-Slovenia and France-Brazil games should be fun to watch so I will try to watch both alternately. And if I don't die from excessive basketball I would try to see Mexico-Lithuania and USA-Finland games as well.

Great advertisement by Turkish Airlines in favor of the Turkish NT. I don't expect anything from them this tournament but I really liked this little clip:

Croatia-Philippines started. Very good pass to Saric from Tomic. Philippines have quite a support in audience.

Croatia leads 15-4, Philippines looks helpless and Blatche is butchering their play.

37-31 Croatia at the half time. Awful coaching from the Croatian side. Saric dominated the first Q but he didn't get much time in the second. Tomic still struggles and can't finish anything on the offensive side but he had some nice assists.

Blatche on the other side is absolutely horrible but Philippines cut the lead with some lucky long distance shooting.
