If Hayward leaves that probably means he informed a few people and someone had a big mouth. The fact that the info got out and Hayward didnt immediately confirm Boston, and made people wait another entire day, would be pretty ****ing ****ty.

This is all so ridiculous.

I'm going to say this though:

If he HAD decided to sign with the Celtics, why would he inform the world via his agent that he hadn't? I'm not accepting spite or hype as reasons.
 
I can't imagine why a fake leak would cause Hayward to have to reconsider anything?

The only way that makes sense is if he told someone he trusted in the Celtics organization he was going there but to keep it quiet and next thing you know there's a story on ESPN before he tells the Jazz and makes his blog post. Now he's not sure he can trust this person anymore and that makes him question going to Boston.

Just spitballing here.
 
If we ended up doing a S&T and land Crowder I don't think i'd even be that upset. I know he's not Gordon but we'd be an abusive defensive lineup that could be fun to watch.
