What's new

Steve Bannon

You've never heard of a teenager becoming an addict overnight? This doesn't happen to normal people. It happens to those with addictive tendencies, and yes, it does happen. That doesn't take away from anything you're saying about the inner strength to fight for control.
Teenagers don't have a developed brain and most struggle with self control. I hear so many people tell me they don't drink because they used to be addicted and then tell me it was when they were a teenager. I would be considered a teen addict. Most teens who drink just are trying to get drunk and out of control/rebel. That mind set is going to be an issue. Then I grew up learned self control and figured out who I was and how to be happy. Some people don't get the help needed to figure their lives out and that is sad but again it's other issues leading to that. That isn't a life addiction and is something that can not be overcome.
