Stupid Pet Peeves

I'm sure it's when they tap their helmets together in celebration that causes the CTE and not the full speed sprint getting stopped by a head to head collision.
I was referring to on the field. And once you are already banging your heads together it become just the normal thing to do. After all, can't bang you heads together enough! But mebbe den yu git da dain bramage!

I saw flags at half staff today.

(context for anyone reading this in the future, Charlie Kirk was killed today)

Charlie Kirk is not an elected official. He is not a military vet. Not a police officer. Not a public servant.

He is an ultra political social media influencer.

Charlie Kirk is not who flags at half staff are for.

I really wish that there were better established standards for when or if doors are held when a group of men go places. I generally like it best when the first guy just opens and goes through the door while making sure it is open for the next person. What I like least is when the first guy holds the door open and I'm the first to go through and there is a second door because when that happens I feel obligated to hold the next door open for everyone else. I don't care about holding the door open but I like it best when we all hold the door for ourself.

Are there rules here or no?

Idk the answer to your question but I agree with your post. I don't like it when the door is held for me

He wasn’t a politician per se but he was a political activist icon. April 5th in 69 I think Martin Luther King a political activist icon was assassinated and President Lyndon B Johnson issued a proclamation ordering the American flag to be flown at half-staff on all U.S. government buildings, grounds, and naval vessels.

It’s happened before and I’m sure there are others.

MLK stood up for people who couldn't stand up for themselves, at great risk to himself. Charlie Kirk put people down, turns out at great risk to himself too. Don't get the two confused.

Good point. I wonder when all major U.S. cities will have a Charlie Kirk Boulevard?
