What's new

Summer League Squad

Henry Sims is a decent rebounder at collegiate level and a superb passer.
so he is maybe a little better than Collins?

Jaron Collins senior season at Stanford-
28.3 mpg, 12.8 ppg on 55%, 69% FT, 6.7 rpg, .6 bpg, 1.4 apg, 1.4 to's

Henry Sims Senior Season
27.5 mpg, 11.6 ppg on 46.2%, 70% FT, 6 .0 rpg, 1.4 bpg, 3.5 apg, 2.8 to's

So Collins can shoot better from the field and rebound better. Sims had significant advantage in blocked shots. Both of their assist to turnover ratio isn't very good.

It upsets me to see this many guys on the roster.

Now, just like every summer league for the jazz, they will want to be fair and get a equal look at everyone and give everyone a chance.... Which means that we wont see as much of burks, kanter, murphy, carroll (guys who will matter to the jazz future), but we will see plenty of action from a bunch of guys that wont be in the league next year.

I would like to see burks, Kanter, murphy, carroll all get 30+ minutes but i know that is not going to happen.

I don't care who's playing.

All I care about is Burks starting at PG for all 5 games, feeding Kanter down low, ALL DAY LONG.

Eh, Bigs never get showcased in Summer league. Don't expect too much scoring from Kanter.

KOC on Summer League: "We're trying to target the players under contract... Put Alec Burks in a situation where - Hey! We're going to ya... we'll put you with the ball - Let's see what you got! ... We're gonna run plays for Enes - you know - 3 or 4 times in a row."

That's what he said - but obviously we'll see what happens.

Re summer league: 9:22 min. mark.

So basically no prospect but those under contract. This seems like a waste. Kind of like this piece of **** league we play in every year.

LOL.. haven't we got enough new players for 1 year?!?!

Wouldn't you rather see off-season improvements from Burks & Kanter??

Or you can pay $15 to watch all the games (including the Vegas league as well I believe)

If you're talking about NBATV, I'd rather not deal with the Dish company.
Oh well, I'm doomed to Jazzfanz analysis if I can't see it....maybe NBA.com has it as well..

I believe the $15 is offered by NBA.com online? Not sure though...
