I was down on George (had him #23) and since said I'm wrong. I'm completely capable of saying I'm wrong about a draft prospect and dont really care about doing so.

Lol. I posted in the draft thread a ton. Though that isn't what we are discussing. You definitely posted in there a ton and I read many of your posts. Saw bias galore.

Keep seeing "some day" and "if he gets better at this and that" and he is "going to be able"
All those phrases point to a player who isn't very good right now that might be good someday.

Side note to the "being invisible" thing. If that's a big deal to you, you might find yourself with similar concerns about Hendricks. When I watched full games of his he went very long stretches of not being involved at all. The difference between he and Bilal would be that Hendricks inserts himself into the game by being an aggressive shooter, but not much at all in terms of being an on ball player. Bilal is not an aggressive shooter off the ball, but he inserts himself into the game as a slasher/PnR ball handler. It is a much simpler path for Hendricks to become asolid offensive NBA player, but Bilal is more likely to be an initiator. And it makes sense, Hendricks is a good shooter whereas Bilal played PG for most of his career. They are different players, but neither is dominating a lot of the offensive action.

I think we probably make a bigger deal out of this than we should. If you're watching a game and zeroing in on a single player, chances are you'll find yourself bored by all the times nothing happens unless they have that clear #1 role. Keyonte is one of the highest usage guys in summer league and we still have complaints about him getting frozen out. It's just a different viewing experience when you're focusing on one guy versus watching a game normally.

bufkin has been interesting in this game. but the one that it is apparent, and it was apparent if you ever watched him at michigan it's that he's not a PG. he can shoot, he can score, damn near impossible to stay in front of, but he just isn't a natural passer/playmaker and when he goes to the bucket (again, just a beast to stay in front of) he has tunnel vision and as a result has had it ripped away, and been blocked 2 or 3 times - again, finding people just doesn't come naturally. but man, as a shooter/scorer, the extra spacing is going to be great for him - so damn quick off the bounce and a beautiful stroke from distance.

I'm neutral about it, but if it does matter to you that a guy is invisible....chances are you won't like you see with the Hendricks film. It's legitimately boring to watch his games because of how little he does. Again, not saying that's a bad thing, but if it matters a lot to you it is a very relevant thing to think about with Hendricks.

i wouldn't say sucked, rather just hasn't done much. he's taken a total of 11 shots in three games. he's only 3-11, but he's rebounded pretty well - with 16 rebs in those 3 games in limited minutes. where a guy like leonard miller is so aggressive and forces a lot of his own action, cissoko tends to let things come to him and if they don't he's just kind of out there.

What about in 3 years?

Based on what I am hearing from others... in a year we can't quite judge him anyway... so why would I guess that right now? In 3 years maybe he jumps back in the top 10... nobody knows.

That is a massive reach. He wasn’t that invisible to average 15.1 PPG.

He's been really good on defense when I watched him, but just hasn't gotten involved in offense at all even though his team at times could really use it.

Well that’s kind of his thing, isn’t it? You will barely notice him on the floor but then you look down at the box score and it looks good. Like I said, it’s not necessarily a good or bad thing. But if it concerns you that a player feels invisible, that would be a concern with Hendricks.
