Then why even make a point about him being from France? It's ****ing dumb. I'm sorry but it is. If he sucks because of things you can see on the floor, why make a point about something so irrelevant? Now I think I see the disconnect. You think he is down on Bilal cause he stunk and is from France.
I don't think that is the case. I think that if Bilal stunk in a league out of Uruguay or something then he would still be down on Bilal.
Then why even make a point about him being from France?
Bufkin is long ways from being a legit NBA player. Has had some good moments in SL but also really bad ones, and perhaps more of the latter.Bufkin with 7 assists! Also with 5 turnovers
Bufkin was the most consistent well rounded player of all the guard prospects throughout the college season. You're probably just overreacting to a abd SL.Bufkin is long ways from being a legit NBA player. Has had some good moments in SL but also really bad ones, and perhaps more of the latter.
Those who give huge value to flashes may be high on him, but I prefer to look for things that a player does well consistently and Bufkin doesnt check many boxes there yet.
Very likely. I dont get to watch college hoops much so SL is my first proper look at many of these guys.Bufkin was the most consistent well rounded player of all the guard prospects throughout the college season. You're probably just overreacting to a abd SL.
yeah actually thanks for bumping this -- knew he was great even when he was in the dungeon here, he had a great season with Sota and now they've signed him to a new contract.Weren’t you the guy crying about us trading NAW lmao.
this true. just not as a pg. my concern is that they continue to try to fit a square peg in to a round hole with him.Bufkin was the most consistent well rounded player of all the guard prospects throughout the college season. You're probably just overreacting to a abd SL.
You think Atlanta is going to develop him to be a fulltime PG when they have Trae Young? He's going to be a hybrid player, as is almost every modern PG/SG who has any ball skills. It's not a square peg in the slightest.this true. just not as a pg. my concern is that they continue to try to fit a square peg in to a round hole with him.

This has to be one of the dumbest discussions on this board. You have a player in the same league, ON THE SAME TEAM that is universally considered the best prospect in however many years and literally everybody would take him no.1... but the problem with Bilal is not that he's unproductive period... it's that he's unproductive in France... DA ***!!?!?
Before the draft I expressed my concern about these sophomore guards who pop after a mediocre freshman season in college. Recent history has not been kind to them in the NBA.Bufkin is long ways from being a legit NBA player. Has had some good moments in SL but also really bad ones, and perhaps more of the latter.

Please.Could you guys please quit the French league debate or move it to a separate thread?
you are right. my concern was misguided. You think Atlanta is going to develop him to be a fulltime PG when they have Trae Young? He's going to be a hybrid player, as is almost every modern PG/SG who has any ball skills. It's not a square peg in the slightest.
Its insane to think its insane to discuss where a player played when a discussing a player. It’s truly insane. He averaged like 5 points a game, but also did you know that Killian Haynes happened to step on a French LNB court!!!
