Nah you aren't. You're forced a servos fee, but not a tipI was forced to tip. There was no option to not tip.
Oh well.

I had the same experience. It might be a service fee but it says tip, after you pass on giving a tip, and there is not way to pay without adding it. Not good but happy to donate either way.I was forced to tip. There was no option to not tip.
Oh well.
I mean I was. You might not have been though. Mine clearly said tip and did not say service fee but it amounts to the same thing I guess.Nah you aren't. You're forced a servos fee, but not a tip
You just didn't do something right bud. It never forces you to tip.I mean I was. You might not have been though. Mine clearly said tip and did not say service fee but it amounts to the same thing I guess.
This is probably another one of those arguments that simply isn't worth it.
No biggie, I appreciate your support fish.I was forced to tip. There was no option to not tip.
Oh well.
Same but they facilitate the effort so I just went with it. I'll probably do some more with the venmo when I am able.I was forced to tip. There was no option to not tip.

Nope bud. Didn't do anything wrong. I made the transaction. I saw the words on my phone and comprehended them just fine. You just didn't do something right bud. It never forces you to tip.
Yeah, tip was not optional. I don't really care other than I wanted everything to go to Log.Nope bud. Didn't do anything wrong. I made the transaction. I saw the words on my phone and comprehended them just fine.
The fee assessed went by the name "tip" not service fee. You were not involved in this transaction and therefore have no idea what you are talking about. I was there. I experienced the transaction. It quite clearly labeled the charge as a tip and it was quite clear that there was no way to avoid that charge.
There is another poster a couple posts back that goes by the name gomretat who said the same thing happened to him.
Sardines apparently had the same experience.
Yup, it's literally like every other service that wants you to tip. Very easy to set to 0 if you just look a second to lookI noticed the tip thing when I donated, it looked like you could slide the scale to increase or decrease the amount. I didn’t try adjusting it and merely paid the 16.5 percent tip/fee where it was originally set.
I want to thank everyone for their generosity. I've been part of this site since before the reset, for any old timers, and have always felt like this is a second family and when push comes to shove, you all proved me right in that assessment. I cannot thank you all enough for the kind words and support.
To fill everyone in, my wife has ovarian cancer and it's been a tough go for the past 4 months of her treatment. With that we are more than $15k in the hole after liquidating most everything we could to stay ahead of the medical bills, which is why our niece started this gofundme. We are hoping this will make a dent and so far out is definitely helping out. Most of all it helps our peace of mind, especially my wife who is really stressing about all this since she cannot work during her treatment. The last thing she needs to worry about is how we are going to pay for all this, she needs all her energy aimed at getting better, so this helps so much in this regard and we are eternally grateful for your support jazzfanzers. Thank you all.
