You're not forced to work under a union contract. Most of the jobs in this country are non union!
Great and that should work across the board.
I don’t agree with forced dues.

As I've mentioned, I belong to my union. I pay dues. I participate.Forcibly my ***. You chose to take a job under a union contract. By law Unions have to negotiate a contract for all the employees. They can't represent just their members in contract negotiations. They have to represent everyone so everyone should have to pony up for it.
If you don't like your union you can:
Stand for election/vote for different leadership within your union and bring about the changes you would like to see.
Get a non union job that will probably pay you less because there is no collective bargaining.
Or (now) freeload/undermine the union that works on your behalf.
Great and that should work across the board.

I've understood your point this whole time.Putting a lot of words in my mouth Bulletproof.
I personally don't care if anyone does or doesn't want to be in a union. Simply stating that currently Unions are not allowed to do what you're asking.
I've understood your point this whole time.
I’m curious, are union members in the US the last workers a company can fire?
Awesome! In that case, give up:
- Your weekends
- The 40-hr work week
Over the years I’ve met many freeloaders, like you. People who don’t want to slap some skin into the fight. But I’ve never met anyone who wouldn’t take the benefits fought so hard by the union.
- Break time
- Health insurance
- Medical leave
- Paid holidays
- Pay raises
- Tenure
One thing that we haven’t even touched on, unions as a lobbying force in politics. If unions have less money now (which is obviously going to happen) how are they supposed to offset the corporate dollars that are flooding our political system?
