Denver is so more well set both now and in the future then the Jazz are.

Maybe... but sustain one injury or have one guy stall in development or become disgruntled and it can fall apart. Minnesota was supposed to be really friggin good by now and can't even make the playoffs.

I'm not sure Denver's top guys fit as well as DM and Rudy... they do have an abundance of good young guys on cheap deals, but sometimes that stalls out and egos hurt them. See Celtics, Boston.

I hear fans of many teams say this a lot. I disagree. I don't think that the "waiting until GSW breaks up" approach, is a good approach for the Jazz.

The Jazz aren't known for being able to get big names to sign in free agency. And there are a limited number of opportunities to trade for true difference making stars. We don't have the luxury of picking our time. We have to make the move when the opportunity presents itself.
