Nah hateful 8 was really pretty meh by Tarantino's standards. Felt like a throw-away movie, money-grab kind of thing. It was no Django or IB that's for sure.

Not true. Kevin Costner is easily the worst actor ever. If you don't believe me watch The Bodyguard with Costner and Whitney Houston. Cosmically bad!

I do recommend inglorious basterds. Pretty well done foreign language film (for us foreign language anyway). German people played by Germans. French as well I believe. Interesting thought experiment about an alternate history on WWII, and not as much of the straight up gratuitous violence in most Tarantino films, although there is plenty.

But most of his films seem like he is trying to see how many times he can have people say the N-word. Pervasive is understating it, a lot.
