They never criticized him for giving his shoes away. They criticized him for acting unprofessional and immature.

No one should be allowed to jump up and down on an NBA court while the game is going on. Especially in sweaty *** socks.

It wasn't in malice, I get that. It was just unprofessional. Not all will get that.
