The “I’m a Mike Conley hating bitch” list

Mike Conley signed an 153 million dollar deal in 2016. He's being paid over 32 million dollars this year, more than any Jazz player in history.

13 games in and the dude blows. I mean, he's had OK games and I get it takes time, but he's paid like a superstar and performs like Stormy Daniels.

Mitchell is trying to do much now.

Trust me, I'd love to eat crow about Conley, but this has been so mediocre.

Buy low guy. Lol

As a fan who views the NBA through Jazz-colored glasses, I can't believe these stats will hold true over the course of the entire season, but after 13 games for Conley and 10 games for Rubio this season, it is beginning to look like we gave up a significant amount of assets to downgrade our PG situation dramatically. Conley has been awful except in about 6-7 quarters of basketball out of 52 played. Will he turn it around consistently? I hope so, but I have my doubts.

I don't think Conley's paycheck has anything to do with my expectations. I simply hoped he would be a nice upgrade at the PG position, and so far he has not been anything close. I have to believe the Jazz would be either undefeated or close to it if we had 2019 Ricky running the point. Again, things may change, but my hope for Conley is starting to sour. While he may be a great teammate, he has been terrible on the court. Get better, Conley. Thank you.

I am confident that we would be better right now if we had not traded for Conley, kept Rubio, and replaced Favors with Bojan.

Somehow, the offense of our closing lineup last year ran better than our current team. I don't think the problem is Bojan, because he seems to fit the offense really well. Mike just doesn't seem to contribute to the offense well, and I am not sure why. I would love to see more of Gobert, Bojan, Royce, Joe, & Donovan together (only played 11 minutes so far).

However, there is no doubt that if everything clicks in with the team the ceiling is higher with Mike than Rubio. The hope is that by the end of the year the Jazz are in sync. We have a lot of new rotation pieces this year, going to take a while to integrate everyone.

Those numbers are quite telling, I would have gone after a stretch 4 instead.

He wasn't the solution either. Conley needs to play like 32 million. Mitchell is trying too hard cause guys like Conley are playing like role players.

Conley is paid to be a star. Dude is 2019 Stormy Daniels.

Well several people ended up addressing this already but I'll reply anyway. If you ever at any point thought Conley was a 32million dollar player since the day the Grizz signed him to that contract that is on you. He was never that and will never be that.

When the trade rumor was brought up last season I initially hated it for that very reason. However after completely removing the contract and just looked at the player production I became excited about the possibilities that it could do for the Jazz.

But yes he has not preformed up to hopes or expectations thus far into the season. But heck the entire Jazz offense hasn't, you can take any player and they have been inconsistent and bad one night and good the next. Problem is both the consistency and the lows have been way worse than at least I could've imagined, man those lows are so bad it's horribadful for each and every player so far this season.

I never thought he's a 32 million guy a year. Never once. Never will. I'll still judge him for it.

The dude is at most a 10 million dude a year at this point.

If you don't understand why he's been a disappointment this season, then that's on you.

I don't think you're wrong, but I also don't think the Jazz necessarily brought him over expecting him to be a 32 million dollar a year guy. That's not what we need from him, that's what we need from Don.

Sounds like a recipe for a very mediocre team. Have you seen our bench? That's the result of having a 32.5m a year player. Conley needs to perform big time, or we're ****ed.

Last night felt like a turning point for Conley. He's had other good games where he got hot, but last night it was under control, efficient, and he was finding guys... also no turnovers... saw him probe the defense on a couple pick and rolls were he kept his dribble and reset the offense... passing up on the midrange shot. That is the Mike Conley I expected to see a lot of this year.

Agreed. But, but, but...never forget that he's overpaid. haha.

30 million dollar a year and highest paid Jazzman ever has found his niche in playing G League level teams and having fans brag about him.

That ****ing guy must be a riot.
