The “I’m a Mike Conley hating bitch” list

Shall we take this time to recall some of the early conclusions Archie came up with after about 10 games of Donovan Mitchell’s rookie year?

Mitchell sucked *** his first 5 to 10 games. If you're to weak to understand that criticism from what we saw about Mitchell (he literally has the record for poorest shooting percentage to start a career as a lottery pick.)

I never made a conclusion that he would suck or anyone would. If you read my post, you'll see I make fun of fans for thinking they're forecasters, weathermen, and soothsayers. GMs have a hard enough time doing it, let alone fans.

If a Jazz player plays bad. I'm gonna say it. During Mitchell's rookie year, I assure you, I pimped him harder than any Jazz player on Jazzfanz during summer ball.

He just sucked to start his NBA career. 100% understandable. Was asked too much of him. He still sucked to the degree that he holds an NBA record.

Do you argue that assessment?

I think he's talking about how you said he wasn't athletic.

Again, I was a huge fan of him during summer league. His first 5 games he looked slow, confused and unathletic. Obviously, since I wasn't a GAWD DANM forecaster (my biggest fandom pet peeve) people had a hard time with it. I still continually self deprecate for saying he looked slow in a game thread - ask @fishonjazz. I know he's not slow. I know he's not unathletic. Go back and watch his first 5 or so games. I was saying what I saw game by game.

Dude turned the ball over consistently, couldn't guard and couldn't make a shot. He was asked too much of. I wasn't forecasting. Lol.

Don't know, man. I get being positive but some fans are more ludicrous than fans who say stat athletes look poor during game by game assessments.

He cost us Bricky, Crowder, Korver, Allen and a couple of first round picks so he better be effing producing.

Isn't it funny how Rubio is in an article on ESPN today being a suprise as well as Phoenix? I wasn't a huge Rubio fan other than his defense and passion, but he clearly out played Conley up to this point.

You stated that Mitchell was unathletic and that the Jazz should trade Gobert.

Have fun spinning these truths.

Going back and reading the grammatical errors in my posts make me shake my head. Gawd damn it. Trust me, I'm not great at spelling (thank gawd for Google and spellchecked browsers) but the amount of times I type wrong words when I think I'm writing a different word is amusing. I usually catch and edit them during a read through, but gawd damn, I hate this about me. Lol

Conley will be why we hoped he would by the end of the year. So glad fans are not the GMs. I fully expected growing pains as the systems and personnel are very different. It’s going to take time, and I’m happy to watch the process unfold.

Have fun spinning these truths.

1) I said he looked unathletic during his first 5 or 10 games (can't remember.)

2) I never argued the Jazz should trade Gobert. I argued he WASN'T un-tradable with the likes of A Davis or different packages in mind. I also said this during a time (the start of the season) where the Jazz couldn't score.

I know to people like you this seems like "spinning" the truth. To me, it's called speaking the truth and reading comprehension.

This is where you respond with an angry response that somehow involves Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ.

You were actively presenting Gobert trade proposals, and you were wrong on Mitchell to a comedic degree.

Keep on spinnin’, homie.

I hope so, brother.

I think it's a sheepleton thing to say that this is why fans aren't GMs based off of the fact that GMs strike out so much and get fired.

GMs aren't savants. You might think they are, but they **** up so many times it's cringeworthy.

*see the Jazz's draft history*

That said, I'm not a "GM."

I actively said he wasn't Gobert wasn't untradable while mentioning the likes of Anthony Davis. I was saying this during a stretch where they had their worst offense in history and had no spacing with Favors and Gobert.

I've always been a fan of Gobert but I stood up for the dude that made the thread about trading him. I never advocated for the Jazz to trade him I said he wasn't untradable. He wasn't.

Ok, I was so wrong on Mitchell. He looked like a superstar during his first 5 to 10 games (I can't remember exactly) when he set the record for sucking ***.

Trust me, I'm a huge Mitchell fan. He sucked during his start of his NBA career. It wasn't a universal statement or prediction. If you can't discern my my comments from the likes of I was saying he was a bust and would always suck, it's on you, dude.

Btw, I presented, from what I remember, two different trades (only when guys like you said he was untradable.)

The two trades I presented were Anthony Davis and Zubac, Kuzma (lol at you cause you **** on this at the time) and Ingram.

I like Gobert. He's a franchise player. He's not, nor has never been untradable imo.
