In a nutshell, there is proof on Hunter's laptop of Hunter Biden doing everything they convicted Paul Manifort of doing. There is also bits about drug use and possibly underage girls which get sensational media attention but it is the tax and FARA stuff on the laptop that Hunter may get indicted for.

Here is the very first paragraph in the Vox article you linked to (emphasis added by me):
Two sentences, one (reads to me like background information) that says he's still under investigation, the other that confirms emails are on the laptop according the NYT (which I have no reason to doubt). Possibly they are connected (and if so, too bad for Hunter), but the quote doesn't say that they are. I'm not saying your wrong, just that the news articles don't support your claims.
But how else are we all supposed to know what to be outraged at? We can't let all this potential outrage go to waste!
