Thank you Brandon! Such high ratings! Many people have written unflattering things about your handling of the economy many people but look at those numbers wow!

Keep it going Brandon! America First! I hope all the Trumpers on here motivated by economics can see the miracle recovering happening under Brandon’s watch! Wow!
 
Americans are leaving less-paying jobs for better jobs which is good, we just have a severe shortage of those that really want those $12-14 an hour positions. People are going to continue to grumble about long lines at Wendy's.

A bigger problem for Biden and his admin to deal with is the inflation rate on... well, just about everything. That negative sentiment is going to be highlighted in a billion political ads this summer/fall from candidates that will claim they can fix it when the reality is that if it was easy to fix, it would have been done long ago.

I'd say it's fairly easy to fix it I think. It's not convenient for any politician to do so.

I'm not wanting to see bad numbers. Yes, it shows how awful Biden and the current crop of democrats are at handling the economy and every new number strengthens the case for getting better people into positions of power, but I'd much rather see the economy succeed. It turns out that report on jobs created by ADP was wishful thinking. The real numbers from the US Government were released. The real number is 199,000 jobs against economists projections of 400,000. It was less than half of projections and less than a quarter of that fake ADP report. It was the fewest jobs from any month in 2021 which means the economy is decelerating. The economy is grinding to a halt and the Fed hasn't even started raising rates yet. We are currently scheduled for an extremely aggressive 3 rate hikes in 2022, likely starting in March. Enjoy being able to cherry-pick numbers for a few more months to convince yourself this isn't a dumpster fire because even the rosiest of rose-colored glasses won't hide where we really are in the second half of 2022 when people think about heading to the polls.

The US economy added 199,000 jobs in December, the Labor Department reported Friday. That was the fewest jobs added in any month of 2021.

I suspect he needed cooperation from all those people who said they would never get vaccinated. If they stick to their vow to never vaccinate, tough for him to “crush” Covid. I believe he should have known better, should have known that there was far too many stupid and selfish citizens, uninterested in helping their country, and who put themselves above the needs of their country. Probably needed ~95% vaccination rate to pull it off, just guessing. I have no idea what he could have said that would have dramatically increased vaccination rates. Esp. since ~60% of Republicans think Biden is an illegitimate president, which I would imagine makes it even less likely that they would listen to him at all, ever. I guess he was counting on the good will of the American people, but did not factor in all that absolutely inflexible ill will among the less intelligent.

Plenty of countries throughout Asia have. Of course, their vaccination rates are generally higher and/mask use much better. The pandemic has been exacerbated in America by dopey Trumpers who wasted a year refusing to get vaccinated.

As i asked in another thread, what are republicans doing to unite the country? In this case, what are they doing to end the pandemic?

It’s pretty obvious that we have republicans throughout the country and even on this board who are rooting for the continuation of this pandemic.
