I posted the above clip twice in a response to two different issues. Was there another post you were referring to?@Thriller why are you posting the same tweets across multiple threads on a daily basis? It's slightly annoying.
This has been an almost daily thing. I go from one thread with new posts to see that you've posted several tweets, then once I'm done looking at that thread I go to the next one with new posts and there are the same tweets again. I mean you must know you're doing this. I'd say post the most relevant tweets in the threads they most closely relate to or into the most active political thread and call it a day.I posted the above clip twice in a response to two different issues. Maybe we should keep threads separate? It’s hard to know where posts should go as It seems like every political thread devolves into the same lame arguments. My “Republicans and fascism” thread quickly devolved into another “Whatabout democrats” thread rather than sticking specifically with the threat of fascism towards our liberal democracy. Right now I think we have 3 threads bitching about the midterms, inflation and gas prices.
Perhaps you could create a thread for all the Republican whataboutisms? Or a thread for the midterms? Maybe that would help?
No, I don’t know that I’m doing this. Could you cite another post I’ve used the same articles or tweets in? I’d really like to know. Maybe it feels thee same because the same 2-3 Trumpers crap over thread making the conversations really redundant. This has been an almost daily thing. I mean I'm just expressing my take on this. I'm not telling you what to do. I don't think what you're doing is "wrong" it's just something that when I open the second or sometimes third thread where the only new posts are the same tweets you posted in the other threads it elicits a minor eye roll. That's all.
Cool man, if you're not intentionally doing it then don't worry about it.No, I don’t know that I’m doing this. Could you cite another post I’ve used the same articles or tweets in? Maybe you’re being overly sensitive here since I can only remember the last two most recent posts which two out of the four tweets I had used in this thread. The two tweets were applicable in this one as we’ve talked about inflation and gas prices a lot and applicable in the other thread because we were talking about what republicans are campaigning on. Now the poster I was responding to just liked the post. And the thread will continue with his/her thoughts.
No, we shouldn’t. Yet you keep posting them, with no context. It’s more “gotcha” ******** than substance.Oh weird. So we shouldn’t base our opinions on candidates on 20 second out of context clips? What a concept.
What about Hershel Walker? It feels a little disingenuous that those who worship Trump and have no qualms with Herschel Walker are now suddenly concerned that a man recovering from a stroke struggled in a tv debate with a celebrity tv star. As if Trump has ever been coherent in the last 5 years?
Pennsylvania means more to Fetterman, then it ever did or will for OZ. Oz is another fake person who only cares about himself. He honestly doesn’t care about the needs of Pennsylvania. If he saw an opportunity to win in New Mexico, he would take it.I don’t think we really need a debate to know who the better candidate is. One believes in democracy, has worked in the legislative process before, and lives in PA and the other is a NJ tv celebrity who got bored and now wants to rubber stamp any Republican attack on our democracy.
He literally just stated in the clip I posted a response to not going along with Senator Grahams BS abortion law. So again, you’re just posting fear porn, with no substance.Which one will stand up for democracy and which one will merely go along with his party to empower whatever authoritarian comes out of the GOP?
Yes, we are this broken. With in the next decade I bet some Sex doll AI robot will be elected to office. No one does any research on candidates or news and just follows what the media tells them about each person and topic.Cmon now. We can’t be this broken, right?
Because now it’s a States right. Each state has different views on the subject and we could end up with 50 different State abortion laws.Wait why should abortion involve politicians, local or federal at all?
Because of a Supreme Court decision. Why not just return the protections of Roe v Wade?
I agree, my whole life it was the law.It seemed to be working for most Americans, right?
It was a response to Senator Grahams BS abortion proposal. He is not on board with it. Then he stated it is a State issue and the way things get done is to work the the parties involved (women, doctors and lawmakers) to create laws.So he doesnt want national politicians involved with womens decisions but he does want local political leaders involved? I dont see how that is better.
I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you guys were not aware of a swing state Senate race that had a candidate who suffered a major stroke, in May. It was national news.Seems like the other dude having recently suffered a stroke was some context left out of that other fracking clip fwiw
Sounds good. And I’ll try and be more aware of this.Cool man, if you're not intentionally doing it then don't worry about it.

It’s frustrating that America can’t put forth more competent, successful candidates from both sides. We can be limited to just “left overs”
@Al-O-Meter takes the brave stand that killing cancer is homicide. The term "homicide" is not a legal term. Legal statuses are only important for determining if a thing is a crime. Legal status is required to determine murder or manslaughter, not homicide.
If I had said that abortion is murder, then you could have responded with the legal status argument. I specifically chose the word homicide on purpose. It doesn't matter if the courts have decided to recognize the rights of algae when determining if the stuff I'm pouring in my pool is algicide. All that matters is that it kills algae. You can sit and pound away at that square peg atop a round hole all you want but abortion is homicide.
