The biggest mistake in the history !!

I thought the biggest mistake in (Jazz) history was when we got Gail Goodrich for our draft pick that was used by the Lakers to get some dude named Earvin.

Bell has more than decent talent for what they pay him. He's not a great scorer, but he gives a lot of effort in the games I've seen, more than A LOT of NBA players. There is more to the game than shooting, and I like Bell's intangibles. I'd rather have somebody scoring a low number of points , on efficient shooting, than shooting and missing a lot, and not bringing anything else to the table.
I agree, that it would have been great to have kept Matthews on the Jazz, but let's let it go.

I agree with the OP, but the mistake was not extending him BEFORE he became a RFA. No way we could match Portland's price.

I believe that we have to say it again and again until TC puts Raja on the bench

We will all join forces a scream until eyes fall from head...tc will destroy the raja from the fear we will make for him! Place the raja on bench now!

Your super cute under the radar gf(who likes all the game music/movies as you, and loves sex) goes out on the town one night, and gets swooped up by a rich guy from Harvard in town for the weekend.

We will move on with therapy, and when we find a slightly less attractive but very loyal new fling.

The biggest mistake ever was not putting a 2 year team option on Matthew's original contract. Why would that not-really-rocket-science-idea have been so difficult to come up with?

In a press conference today Corbin said he was reading Jazzfanzz and realized everyone is disgruntled by Bell and is now going to bench him. Way to go whoever started this.

Had the Jazz committed that much money to Matthews, the money could not have been spent on Jefferson. The Big Al deal was already in the works at the trade deadline last year. Kahn was waiting on the Jazz getting picks and an exception, which they did when Boozer left for Chicago.
Yes, Matthews has turned into a pretty good guard. But 90% of NBA people thought Portland overspent.

**Edit** The Jazz and Portland both had an MLE to spend on Matthews.**Edit**

Jazz chose not to spend the money and went with Bell to be thrifty. They traded for AJ using a TPE and had the rights to match Portland's offer regardless of existing salary commitments.

Wes Matthews was given average NBA salary. I don't know why anyone would believe he's worth less than average after his first season play. It was obvious the guy would make it. Guys like CJ go for 3.4mm and guys like Wes Matthews go for $6mm or more.

And no, I won't get over it.
