**** this ****. I just get over a cold my wife had first, and then my son, the only one in the family who didn't get a flu shot, gets the flu(verified by doctor). Now I have the flu and my daughter thinks she is coming down with it right after having the cold, too. Maybe because of my flu shot but so far it's not as bad as my son had it, but my body got the aches bad. Good thing it's the weekend.
 
I don't get the flu shot... its a scam (I base this on zero medical or other research).

Sorry man... nothing worse than seeing someone in the family puke or get sick knowing it is absolutely going to pick the rest of the family off one-by-one.

**** me. I get sick every winter probably two times. My son's flu symptoms were a wicked terrible cough, body soreness, painful congestion and a fever. He said it was about the sickest he's ever been. He's almost 17. Lasted about 5-7 days for him. I have all of the above but it's not too bad, only about a 5 on the scale. 10 being about 10 years ago when I had double pneumonia before realizing my breathing was gurgling and going to the doctor. Almost got hospitalized on that one. My daughter has symptoms but she's really not feeling too bad. I think the flu shots are helping us. Oh and my wife doesn't have it yet. She seems to be the healthiest so maybe she won't.
 
My buddy took bee pollen for like 10 straight years. Two years ago, he ran out and forgot to buy more. He didn’t take it one day. The next day he got truly sick for the first time in a decade.

Weird considering I think there’s no research to show it’s effective.

I stopped getting the flu when I stopped getting the flu shot 10 years ago.

I know what the predictable responses will be.

I'm just saying. :)
