Whether he means to or not (again it's remarkable how his use of vague language results in him claiming is being misinterpreted) the message he's getting across to incels is- it's not really your fault, it's those darn women who won't sleep with your that are to blame for your violent behaviors.

He uses vaguely racist language and people like David Duke and Richard Spencer love him for it, but when Trump himself is called out, the rest of the right wing comes to his defense.

If I was a political leader and I started noticing a bunch of people wearing nazi arm bands coming to my rallies it might cause a moment of introspection about just what it is I'm accomplishing. And why it is that my message is attracting these unsavory types rather than repelling them. It's not so different with Peterson and the MRA Incel crowd.

There are pros and cons for every societal enforced idea whether it be monogamy or celibacy. I don't agree with Peterson for the most part, but I do agree that society forces cause many people to do things they may not do otherwise (keep working instead of staying home with kids when the other spouse has sufficient income--this applies to both men and women, etc.), but there are two sides to every coin. Even truly forced marriage has been shown to have more stability than the choose your own adventure model. His model seems to promote overpopulation. I think the world would be better off with fewer women giving birth. I also disagree with his views on abortion.

I will also say that Peterson appears to be vague on many subjects, and the news articles are very good at twisting his statements. I'm surprised that people get so upset about this, that is what news writers do. Been happening forever.
