If Jefferson and Millsap both log 38 MPG, that would leave 20 MPG for some combination of Okur, Elson, Fesenko, and maybe AK, between PF & C. Or we could go small...
If Memo is out for any length of time, it could be scary. As competitive as the wild wild west has been, we would have a tough time even making the playoffs.
Low 30 minutes--say, 33--for each of Millsap and Jefferson is optimal. That leaves (48-33)*2 = 15*2 = 30 minutes for the rest if the PF/C players. Fesenko should get 10-15 of those--more if he produces, maybe less if he doesn't. Just like he should have gotten all along.Memo being out means a bigger role for AK and Fesenko in the big men rotation, which can be a good thing for us.
Not sure if Millsap is able to play 38mpg. He tends to be in foul trouble a lot and my guess is he will be playing at around 32 minutes a night.
I am pretty confident that we are going to make the playoffs. I just hope we can have more length to compete with the Lakers. Replacing Boozer with Jefferson is a start and getting a healthy Okur back for playoffs will be good.
I imagine we will see virtually the same exact sort of 3 man rotation that we've had the past 3 years, but with Millsap seeing more minutes and Memo less.
I imagine Big Al will play exclusively at the 5 while Memo is out. If he gets 34 minutes per, there are only 14 minutes left for Fes + Elson. AK would then get the backup minutes at the 4.OK, at 33 MPG for Millsap and Jefferson, if Okur is out, that leaves 30 minutes for the Fes/Elson show. That's over half the ballgame with one or the other on the court. Seems like a bit much.
Hopefully we would be smart enough to NOT try and play them TOGETHER.
If AK gets maybe 10-15 MPG at PF, that would really help the situation.

Something like this might work. I'm doubtful the Jazz will have Hayward learning 2 positions this year, and I've heard mention they see him as a SG anyway.I imagine Big Al will play exclusively at the 5 while Memo is out.
