The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Memphis Clarke out with Achilles and Ja could face serious consequences on that gun issue. Gilbert arenas 2.0
Unless Ja actually does something with the gun he won’t get punished more than the two games.

The Clarke injury hurts. They are kinda falling apart

Didn't Nike replaced Irving with ja? Had a new signature shoe? I bet they'll drop him too. Although in the video he didn't point the gun to anybody it can still turn ugly.

Hahaha.. Nike will have to be turning to the likes of D’aaron Fox and Halliburton soon as boring as they may be.

So? Still a terrible fit and a bad use of assets. They can get someone else and be better for a cheaper cost

Do you understand what type of player RJ is? lol. It's not like you're replacing an amazing role player who fits the team perfectly. You're replacing a high usage, poor spacing, and terrible defender. Any weakness you think Mitchell has, RJ is much worse at it. Mitchell would perform the same role that RJ is playing a million times better, and if it was a RJ centric trade package they would have robbed the Jazz. RJ was heavily overvalued as a trade package. They will not get a better player than Mitchell using the same package. There aren't many players better than Mitchell that could realistically be traded to begin with. As time goes on, the reality that RJ Barrett stinks on both sides of the floor becomes more apparent. Whatever the trade package was....Barrett was HIGHLY overrated in his value. It remains to be seen if the Knicks still have time to dupe a team and offload RJ, but that should be a focus for them going forward.

If the reports are true that the Jazz had a tone switch on RJ and were actually pushing for him to be in the deal....I'll say it again that was a massive bullet dodged. We would have gotten RJ/Fournier instead of Lauri/Sexton and half the picks. But hey, every team needs to dodge a bullet and get a little lucky. James Dolan of all people saved the Raps by vetoing a Kyle Lowry trade.
