The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Cason is an absolute dog. I feel like he was slept on (by fans) because he was “boring”. So much talk about him being small as well. Never forget that being good at basketball is most important!
I wanted him pretty badly

The cavs were surprisingly more competitive in the playoffs than i thought. Did the FO have higher expectations than the second round? Did they really think that roster was a contending roster? Seems to me that they met expectations and maybe even exceeded them with the injuries they suffered.

The Cavs had plenty of fight. Pretty hard to overcome the loss of Allen on the defensive side. In the minutes I saw, the Celtics hunted Garland a lot, and there was nobody behind him (Mobley was pretty unimpressive on the defensive side when I was watching). Also pretty hard to overcome all of Garland's floaters. Not a Garland fan at all.

Wolves needs more firepower. Conley/KAT/Rudy/McDaniels combining for 15 pts at the half simply won't get it done. Ant carrying the entire offense by himself, which makes this wolves team very much like the Cavs of the west.
Great. I like Rudy and I like Donovan, but screw both the Cavs and the Wolves. Epic playoff meltdowns and failures can only help improve the picks the Jazz have coming. I’m here for every minute of the chaos.

I'd still like to see Rudy do better than Donovan, I might be a sentimental dickhead but it always seemed like Rudy cared.

Going on record here:

I hate when people call Key a chucker. Let the dude grow and breathe. And we have no idea what Hardy was telling him to force/try.

I prefer the term, "tough shot taker." Why a player takes tough shots can be any number of reasons. For rookies, I think it's generally a good thing when they are willing to take tough shots.
